Our client, a rapidly expanding consulting firm based in Durban, is looking for a Junior Credit Analyst to take the lead in drafting credit proposals and conduct analysis on existing clients financial positions.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluating the financial performance of applicants and guarantor entities by scrutinizing financial statements and management accounts and preparing income statements and the consolidation of relevant information
- Compile and maintain a comprehensive manual exposure report for the group, focusing on security aspects by ensuring that securities are accurately loaded, and ensuring valuations are kept up to date
- Update debt book security amounts on the relevant systems
- Gather relevant financial information from clients such as financial statements, asset and liability statements and income and expenditure statements
- BCom Accounting or BCom Financial Management
- 2+ Years' experience in an Analyst or accounting role, 1 of which must have included Credit Analyst duties
- Strong knowledge of credit policies and procedures
