Job Description


Job Summary As part of an innovative, creative team of strategists, content creators, and writers, you will support the
execution of cutting-edge digital marketing campaigns for our medium-sized B2B clients in consulting,
financial services, IT, telecommunications, and construction across five countries. This is a fantastic
opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to develop hands-on experience in
digital strategy, content marketing, and social media management. Youll work directly with the CEO/Chief
Strategist and gain invaluable industry knowledge while contributing to impactful campaigns that drive
measurable results for SMEs in South Africa and beyond.Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing digital marketing campaigns across various online
  • platforms (social media, web, email and SMS) for various clients.
  • Support the management of client social media accounts by creating, captioning, scheduling and publishing engaging content.
  • Conduct basic performance tracking and reporting using Google Analytics, Meta Business suite and other analytics tools.
  • Assist in the creation of compelling digital content, including social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters and marketing materials.
  • Source various forms of images, graphics, videos and visual content for digital campaigns.
  • Conduct keyword research and assist in optimizing content for SEO and various PPC campaigns.
  • Client Support and Project Coordination: Work closely with the CEO and senior team members in the creative and implementation teams to support client campaigns and projects.
  • Assist in the execution of email and SMS marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, content drafting and performance tracking.
  • Participate in brainstorming and strategy meetings to contribute creative ideas and campaign improvements.

  • Ensure consistency in messaging, branding and writing for clients across all digital communications.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing, social media and emerging technologies as well research to identify new opportunities for client growth.
Requirements:
  • South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
  • A degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Basic intermediate knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter)
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative suite) is a must.
  • Basic understanding of Google Business Suite, Google Analytics, SEO and email marketing platforms is an
  • advantage but not required.
