Junior Draughtsman

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the drafting team and workflow to meet project requirements.
- Create and update technical drawings, including initial designs, construction, and as-built drawings.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry regulations and project specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers for design adjustments.
- Prepare comprehensive Bills of Materials.
- Maintain quality control and ensure accurate record-keeping of all drawings.
- Train and guide junior draughtsmanand technicians.
- Manage and organizedigital drawing folders efficiently.
- Relevant technical qualification (minimum N4 preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in TurboCAD/AutoCAD.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and internet browsers.
- Drivers license and own transport (advantageous).
