Job Description
Junior ElectricianOur client is a leading fruit packhouse and cold store facility located in Grabouw, Western Cape. They are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Junior Electrician to join their organization.Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Be part of the electrical team
- Maintenance of all electrical equipment
- Implementing and improving preventative maintenance
- Logging job cards on the system
- Attending to breakdowns if and when required
- Ensure compliance with OHSACT
- Optimizing and fault-finding of various electrical and electronic systems (including packing, and sorting equipment)
- Successful completion of the electrical trade test
- Wireman's license
- PLC experience would be advantageous
- Mechanical experience would be advantageous
- Knowledge of OHSACT
- Physically fit and able to work at heights
- Willing to work overtime with standby responsibilities
