A manufacturing and engineering company is looking for a Junior Financial Manager to join their finance department.As a Junior Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including payroll, creditors, debtors, and general financial transactions.
• Supervise and manage the financial department, including employee performance.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports, including profit estimates, management accounts, cash flow statements, and forecasts.
• Prepare the year-end accounts pack and assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Approve daily and weekly EFT payments.
• Lead strategic planning and manage asset management, including CAPEX.
• Manage company cash flow and perform general ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure company profitability and implement internal controls to reduce fraud and errors.
• Coordinate and oversee both internal and external audits.
• Manage stores and procurement operations.
• Supervise and coordinate bi-annual stock takes.
• Participate in tender preparation and oversee job costing and inventory management.
• Provide financial support to sales teams and other departments as a point of liaison.
• Ensure adherence to the Group finance policy, financial regulations, and relevant legislation.
• Handle insurance renewals and manage monthly tax calculations.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial accounting and management within a Repairs and Services or Manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of the SEIFSA Main Agreement and HR practices.
• Proficiency in the Syspro ERP system.
