Job Description


Our client in the Financial industry is currently looking for a Junior Financial Planning and Investment Administrator , in Johannesburg, Gauteng.Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support the team which includes administration, data management, filing, data capturing, compliance monitoring and collation, etc. When supporting the team, understand the urgency of the work that is needed, to adhere to any deadlines, so that all work is completed on time.
  • You will be required to contact clients and book time for the reviews in the IFAs diaries.
  • Conduct client reviews once a meeting has been arranged with the client, by obtaining relevant required documents from clients and service providers to provide a consolidated report for the meeting, including Astute, client consent, fund fact sheets, Investment statements, risk policy statements, Latest will, Portfolio performance and Compliance review.
  • If an in-person meeting, ensure the physical file with compliance is completed accurately and all necessary documents are printed and accurately filed.
  • If an MS Teams meeting is scheduled, upload all necessary documents to the diary appointment.
  • Ensure Living Annuity Income Revisions and Section 14 fee renewal meetings are arranged 3 months prior.
  • Ensure portfolio review spreadsheet and Dynamics are updated with the latest review dates.
  • Ensure income/cash portfolios on platform investments have sufficient funds for payment of income and fees as per mandate.
  • Timeous filing of green files with compliance. Only the last 2 reviews are to be in the green file and any older reviews are scanned and saved to SharePoint.
  • Update the review list with the Living Annuity Income revision date and section 14 fee renewal at the beginning of each year.
  • Ensure portfolio performances are updated monthly according to setlist:-
  • Make sure all investments per client are updated on the list (book reports from LISP and legacy/life providers and new business spreadsheet).
  • Checking for additional/monthly contributions, withdrawals, or irregularities.
  • Ensure encrypted PDF reports are sent to the correct client before the 15th of the month via email.
Requirements:
  • BCom Financial Planning.
  • Suitable 120 credits NQF 5 qualifications.
  • At least two (2) years experience as an administrator in an Assurance environment.
  • Computer literate: - Microsoft (Advanced Excel, word, outlook, etc)
  • Required to contact clients and book time for the reviews in the IFAs diaries.
Remuneration:
  • R12 000 - R14 000 per month.
