Job Description

Our client is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join their team, based in East London.Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field
• Relevant design internship or portfolio demonstrating design skills
• Basic understanding of web design principles (may be required depending on the role)

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Basic understanding of design principles: Composition, color theory, typography
• Attention to detail: Ability to maintain consistency and accuracy in design elements
• Communication skills: Effectively communicate design ideas and collaborate with team members
• Creativity: Ability to generate fresh and visually appealing designs
• Time management: Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is essential.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 08h00 - 16h30
• No weekends or public holidays

Job Responsibilities:

• Supporting senior designers: Assist with design projects by creating drafts, mock-ups, and basic design elements
• Developing design skills: Learn and apply design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques
• Creating visual assets: Design graphics for websites, social media posts, marketing materials, email campaigns, and print materials
• Collaborating with team members: Work with designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and deliver designs that align with brand guidelines
• Researching trends: Stay updated on current design trends and industry best practices
• File management: Organize and maintain design files according to project requirements
• Providing design feedback: Receive and incorporate constructive criticism from senior designers
