Our client is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape.QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree: Graphic design, visual arts, or a related field
• Relevant design internship or portfolio demonstrating design skills
• Basic understanding of web design principles (may be required depending on the role)

• PROFICIENCY IN DESIGN SOFTWARE: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF DESIGN PRINCIPLES: Composition, colour theory, typography
• ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Ability to maintain consistency and accuracy in design elements
• COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Effectively communicate design ideas and collaborate with team members
• CREATIVITY: Ability to generate fresh and visually appealing designs
• TIME MANAGEMENT: Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently

• SUPPORTING SENIOR DESIGNERS: Assist with design projects by creating drafts, mock-ups, and basic design elements.
• DEVELOPING DESIGN SKILLS: Learn and apply design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• CREATING VISUAL ASSETS: Design graphics for websites, social media posts, marketing materials, email campaigns, and print materials.
• COLLABORATING WITH TEAM MEMBERS: Work with designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and deliver designs that align with brand guidelines.
• RESEARCHING TRENDS: Stay updated on current design trends and industry best practices.
• FILE MANAGEMENT: Organize and maintain design files according to project requirements.
• PROVIDING DESIGN FEEDBACK: Receive and incorporate constructive criticism from senior designers.
