The Role:

We are looking for a

Junior Hydraulic Fitter

with a strong technical aptitude and a passion for learning to join our Camperdown operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in hydraulic repairs and installations, working closely with experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic systems and components under supervision. Support fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of hydraulic machinery with guidance from senior team members. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all tasks. Collaborate with clients and team members to understand hydraulic requirements and provide effective solutions. Aid in managing stock and procurement of hydraulic parts and components. Work alongside engineers and technical teams to improve operational processes. Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe and compliant workshop environment.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience as a hydraulic fitter or relevant apprenticeship/training. Strong technical aptitude with a keen willingness to learn. Basic understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and repair techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics (training will be provided). Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a desire to grow expertise. Strong communication and teamwork skills to contribute to a collaborative work environment. Relevant certifications or trade qualifications in hydraulic fitting or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not required.
