Qualifications: Required Skills and Qualifications:
National Diploma / B Eng / B Tech in Industrial Engineering or a related field
Excellent communication skills in English

Ability to build and maintain relationships
Experience using work measurement techniques
Knowledge of Lean and value stream mapping
Willingness to work late shifts when necessary to complete projects
Willingness to travel to other branches/sites

Experience Level:
2-3 years of experience in a distribution centre environment

Responsibilities: Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives by actively adhering to Lean principles and design of experiments (e.g., Six Sigma, Simulation design).
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify uncommon and everyday issues within DC operations.
Design, implement, and maintain 5S initiatives across all departments.
Develop and maintain work standards and characteristics that promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
Advise on improvements of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that impact operations and processes with different stakeholders.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory control practices are being followed and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Conduct time and motion studies to develop standard work routines, best practices, and realistic/measurable productivity expectations.
Facilitate Lean workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Plan, execute, and oversee projects to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion.
Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
Use SQL to manage and query databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Perform data analysis to identify opportunities and risks in storage optimization, material handling, and process conformance.
Develop in-house forecasting models for packaging, consumables, assets, and labor based on volumes and budget.
Capture, design, and make recommendations to process flow through risk, security, and productivity gap analysis.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
