Job Description

Responsibilities:

Stock Monitoring

: Assist in daily tracking of stock levels, conducting regular checks to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.

Stock Rotation

: Ensure the implementation and adherence to stock rotation practices (FIFO - first in, first out) to maintain product freshness and reduce losses due to expiration.

Regular Stock Checks

: Perform regular stock checks and report any damaged items or discrepancies from expected stock levels.

Inventory System Updates

: Assist with real-time updates to the inventory management system to ensure accurate records.

Physical Inventory Assistance

: Participate in monthly physical inventories and assist in reconciling discrepancies between physical stock and system records.

Replenishment Management

: Help manage the ordering of stock replenishments and ensure correct quantities according to department needs.

Team Collaboration

: Work closely with other departments (purchasing, logistics, production) to ensure that stock needs are met.

Report Tracking

: Assist in preparing reports on stock levels and future needs to aid in stock management planning.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential. Basic knowledge of stock management systems and product rotation practices. Attention to detail and the ability to perform accurate checks. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to learn and grow in stock management and logistics processes. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills to work effectively with internal teams. Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts if necessary.
