Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Junior Technician to provide inhouse technical assistance and support to users across a client based organization. The role involves, but is not limited to, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring optimal functionality of technology systems. Responsibilities and Duties Technical Support: Provide first-level support to users via phone, email, or in-person for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices. System Administration: Assist in setting up and configuring new hardware and software. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks. Manage user accounts, permissions (including keeping documentation updated). Documentation & Reporting: Keep a detailed, dated list of user access granted and immediately report changes to management. Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine system updates, backups, and reviews of patch management. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards. Desired Experience & Qualification Preferred Qualifications Grade 12 Minimum of 1 or 2 Years of professional experience within ISP Industry. Extremely customer service oriented. A+, N+, required Background in telecommunications (Internet Service Provider) a plus Any other IT qualifications will be beneficial but not a requirement.
