Duration: PermanentEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years post articles experience in litigation, labor law, commercial law, and contract law.
- Admitted attorney to the High Court of South Africa.
- LL. B Degree.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy sector.
- Familiarity with NEC 3 and FIDIC suite agreements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
- Proficiency in working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Capability to thrive under pressure and deliver results.
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational prowess.
- Assist in litigation matters and liaise with external legal counsel.
- Provide legal counsel on labor law, commercial law, and contract law.
- Preferred experience in the construction or engineering sector within the energy industry.
- Draft and review contracts, focusing on the NEC 3 and FIDIC suite agreements.
- Manage debt collection procedures and handle insurance law matters.
- Analyze general commercial documents, including credit applications and lease agreements.
- Beneficial if experienced in Company Secretarial functions.
