Job Summary Requirements:

• Matric
• Degree in Logistics is advantageous
• 5+ years Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management and in a managerial role, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management and strong Problem-Solving Abilities.
• Advanced computer literacy is essential (MS Office)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities (Not limited to):

• Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods from our facilities to customers, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers, negotiating rates and contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness and service quality.
• Track and monitor inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment to meet production and customer demands as well as full stock control function.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement, production, and sales, to ensure effective communication and alignment of logistics activities with overall business objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings.
• Following all aspects of HACCP; safety; quality, legality and aspects related to authenticity in the department.
• Any other support as per business demands
