We are looking for an ambitious Junior Management Accountant who is currently studying towards their CIMA qualification. • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including detailed analysis of revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to track performance against business targets.
• Provide analysis of variance reports, identifying key trends and variances to guide decision-making.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and commentary for management, ensuring they are delivered on time and with accuracy.
• Help monitor cost controls and conduct cost-benefit analyses to support operational efficiency.
• Work closely with senior management accountants to provide financial insights and support various business projects.
• Assist with month-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Contribute to the development of financial models to forecast business performance.
• Stay up-to-date with CIMA studies and apply new knowledge to improve financial processes.

Qualifications:

• Currently studying towards a CIMA qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
