Job Description
Mechanical Engineer- Recent GraduateJohannesburg, travel to sites in Mpumalanga, Gauteng, and Limpopo.Junior Mechanical Engineer is required to be trained in servicing the mining and associated industry with specialist skills in testing technically engineered products.Qualification:
- BEng/ BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- Must have a sincere interest in working in a hands-on technical role and be willing to travel once training is completed
- Will gain skills in machinery and aspects of fatigue testing and performance.
- Will gain extensive skills in selecting and testing raw materials and manufactured materials to ensure the best products are provided to an array of clients
- Will undergo intense training in safe mining practices.
- Will become a specialist in Mining Hoist Rope inspection, offshore crane rope types, Stay ropes, haul/heel ropes, mine winders, and elevators
- Magnetic Rope testing.
- Providing technical solutions
- Assist with audits and rope safety inspections for clients
- Consulting role
