Job SummaryHiring: Junior operations Estimator (Kempton Park) - The candidate must have a proven track record within the Clearing & Forwarding industry.Responsibilities:- Quoting and costing- Compiling sea freight and airfreight import and export estimates for international agents.- Ensure that estimate request turnaround times are as efficient as possible.- Ensure that the rates supplied by agents and service providers are market related and wherever possible are preferential.- Attend to all queries arising from the estimates received and provided and rates received from service providers.- Negotiate rates with all service providers in the freight and logistics industry.- Build relationships with service providers and international agents.Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be viewed favourably
- Valid South African Driver's licence Remuneration
