Our client based in Lonehill, Gauteng currently have an opportunity for a Junior Process EngineerMain job functionAssisting on the process design for the various projects and studies that the company may be busy with from time to time including:Generation of P&IDs and PFDs including draughting (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and Process Flow Diagrams)Generation of mass balances and basic design calculationsCompilation of various process documents such as valve lists, equipment lists and pipe listsPreparation of process control philosophy documentAssisting with commissioning on various sitesGeneral site assistanceAssisting with general office tasks and collections/deliveriesEquipment datasheetsTechnical bid analysisVendor correspondence and price enquiries.Process design criteria compilation.Participation in HAZOPsAssistance with the compilation of plant operating manuals.Compilation of technical documents.ResearchQualificationsBSc/BTech/BEng Chemical or Metallurgical EngineeringCriteria1 years relevant experience in Process EngineeringA Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
