A well-established organization in Johannesburg is seeking a Junior Product Manager in the Solar Industry to join their team. • Minimum 5 years' experience - Solar industry
• Minimum 2 years' management experience
• Minimum 2 years' technical and field experience in Solar
• Product and marketing management experience
• Fully proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and presentation skills
• Driver's license and Reliable transport
• Matric or equivalent
• A marketing/sales/product management qualification - Certificate/Diploma/Degree advantage.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Continuous communication with suppliers and factories
• Build go to market strategy in this tough market.
• Identify gaps/opportunities working with our branch network.
• Product sourcing, forecasting and ordering
• Ensure conformance to all South African safety and import regulations
• Build a returns policy that protects the company but also differentiates from opposition.
• Ensure the availability of product manuals, specifications and catalogues
• Work with the technical department with regards to product and parts information
• Ensure the availability of national Solar price lists for all branches
• A knowledge of Solar and adjacent products essential.
• Knowledge of the industry and contacts within the channel essential.
• Manage the brand identity through, advertising material, product displays etc.
• Handle all queries from branches regarding the Solar product range
• To ensure that the companies image is maintained and promoted within the market.
