Duties & Requirements:

Design and development of optical fibre cables according to internal specifications, international specifications or customer supplied specifications.
Work with the Sales and Marketing team to translate technical requirements by customers into existing products and propose new product ideas.
Coordination of prototype production and prototype deliveries, including first article inspection.
Coordinate and lead testing and inspection required by Certification Authorities.
Participation in international trade shows and conferences.
Bachelors Degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant technical / engineering fields.
A good understanding of materials technology relevant to cable manufacturing.
At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in fields relevant to the requirements of this job description.
Excellent knowledge of software tools (MS Office and CableBuilder).
