Required Skills
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- At least 5 years relevant experience in a senior position within a FMCG environment.
- A thorough knowledge of quality systems (HACCP, ISO22000).
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Willingness to work long, flexible hours.
- Good leadership skills.
- Reliability and trustworthiness
- Working knowledge of BPCS
- A dairy qualification (S1, S2 or S3)
- Ensuring the efficient operation of the Plant.
- Production planning, scheduling, and forecasting.
- Analysis of production requests.
- Monitoring of product and packaging stock levels.
- Analysing production requests and results.
- Identifying problem areas and developing and implementing action plans.
- Keeping records of production processes, analysing trends and benchmarking against competitors.
- Managing the budget and production objectives.
- Initiating and implementing productivity improvement projects.
- Quality management and ensuring good housekeeping standards.
- People and performance management
