Job Description


A National Diploma or bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
2-4 years of hands-on experience in project engineering, ideally within capital equipment or process industries.Construction of SMPP Mining Process Plant experience.Key Requirements:

  • Technical Engineering:
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and reports.
  • Contribute to technical excellence of the project in engineering deliverable development.
  • Equipment specifications, adjudication and selections in line with project requirements, quality and budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution, particularly at construction/assembly phase.
  • Conduct regular fabrication site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Proven experience in project engineering, preferably in the capital equipment or process industry.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with suppliers and team members.
  • Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Continuously finding new ways to innovate to improve performance and streamline project engineering.
