Globally, we boast 3,500+ employees operating out of over 40 locations worldwide which provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the Publicis network locally and globally.This post offers advantageous exposure to one of South Africa's largest skincare brands as well as learning and experience in Precision Marketing.As a Quality Controller/Proofreader, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision in our written and visual assets, ensuring they align with campaign guidelines and meet the expectations of our clients.You will be expected to execute the projects assigned to you, on strategy. You will need a competitive combination of technical knowledge, skill, education, and field experience in this job title. You will be responsible for editing content and maintaining brand consistency across all channels. Show up every day with an attitude of curiosity and courageousness.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES QC/PROOFING:Visual Asset Quality Control:

  • Conduct thorough quality checks on reverts and final visual assets, including graphics, images, layouts, and other design elements for both print and digital media.
  • Verify that visual materials adhere to brand guidelines, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the design team to provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Ensure that all brief requirements have been met.
Proofreading:
  • Review and annotate where required for grammar, spelling, asset accuracy.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across various communication channels according to established campaign style guides.
Communication and Reporting:
  • Time track all changes and record these daily.
Advantageous
  • Understanding technical visual requirements for social & print.
  • Advertising agency experience.
  • Experience with proofing Arabic.
Qualifications
  • 2 - 3 years working experience in QC and proofing for advertising or marketing agencies
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
  • Knowledge/understanding of storytelling principles in traditional ATL channels and digital
  • Be willing to assist team members and work overtime when required
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced agency environment; be able to respond and adapt quickly
  • Have strong time management and self-management skills
  • Have a positive attitude and be a team player - reliability is key!
