360k plus aggressive commissionEssentials:
- BSc Agri/B Agric / BCom or similar qualification with Agriculture Economics. Marketing or Economics will take preference
- Qualification in SAFEX Trading a distinct advantage
- At least two years Agri commodity grain Trading Experience either physical or SAFEX or both
- Afrikaans/English bilingualism on a first language basis
- The role is for a local company supplying feedlots. The company has grown exponentially requiring another resource hence this role which is largely proteins trading ( oilseeds, soyabean, oilcake bran chop etc)
- Dealing with and visiting producers, traders, grain consumers and feedlots.
- Dealing with Client queries
- Researching the proteins market and other relevant information which has an impact on it
- Planning and structuring suitable transactions and types of contracts for the purchasing and selling of different products
- Developing a suitable marketing strategy for producers
- Performing hedging transactions for clients on the SAFEX exchange
- Purchasing and sales calculations
