Pure Legacy (Pty) Ltd, with their head office based in Paarl, is in search of a Junior Quality Controller with strong planning and organisational skills to join their team situated in Patensie, Eastern Cape.This is a fixed-term contract role joining the team only for the citrus seasonThe focus of the role will be on assisting with: *quality assurance on the farms, farm to packhouse and in packhouse till dispatched *ensuring compliance with quality policies, practices and standards and ensure production is maintained at such standards *investigation of complaints & quality deviations *reporting, planning and establishment of corrective steps regarding defects *monitoring and evaluating temperature deviations *continuous quality checks on fruit on arrival, during packing process, and prior to loading *management of QX Prophet System *all other tasks related to the position.Essential qualifications, skills and experience:Relevant tertiary qualification (Food technology or related discipline);Experience in a similar role in the soft fruit industry highly advantageous;Excellent understanding of Food Safety Principles;Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, specifically Excel);Own car and valid license.Commencement date: January 2025Please apply online at www.m3online.co.za before 09:00 on 29 October 2024.For general enquiries, contact our team at M3 Human Capital Management on XXX-XXXX.Please note that only shortlisted candidates are contacted.
