Purpose of the Job
The Junior Rewards Analyst contributes to the Group Rewards Solutions team by providing essential support in
research, analysis, and reporting activities. Collaborating closely with senior team members, the Junior Rewards
Analyst assists in the development and implementation of reward strategies, policies, and frameworks. This role
focuses on learning and applying reward management principles and analytics to support decision-making
processes and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

Job Objectives
Research and Reporting:
Assist in updating benchmark ranges and maintaining master data benchmark files.
Support the preparation of annual increase narratives, pay gap analyses, and executive pay benchmarking
reports.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of reporting dashboards to track key metrics and
performance indicators.
Analytics:
Aid in conducting variable pay analysis and preparing dashboards to monitor performance against targets.
Assist in gathering insights for decision-making and supporting the preparation of the annual remuneration
report.
Perform job matching to external remuneration data providers and submit remuneration information for
upload.
Develop and maintain pay-scales including managing of outliers as per Reward Strategy and Policy.
Analyse remuneration and benefit data for internal/external equity validations.
Provide input in the job architecture from a reward perspective i.e., job grid, families, profiles, etc.
Adhere to Job Evaluation and Reward data standards.
Market Benchmarking:
Support in conducting annual benchmarking exercises to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry
standards.
Assist in analysing market data to support pay reviews and adjustments to compensation packages.
Governance & Compliance:
Adhere to governance structures, policies, processes, and frameworks applicable to the role.
Ensure data management processes adhere to continually changing privacy and legal compliance
requirements.
Support Process Improvements:
Participate in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in reward function processes.
Collaborate with team members to contribute to an innovative and agile reward culture within the organisation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field -
(essential).
A Master's degree - (advantageous)
Experience
Professional certification with SARA - (advantageous).
+2 years in finance, reward solutions, or equivalent role, supporting the delivery of costing models and related
inputs for reward decision-making in an HR environment within related reward frameworks, policies,
procedures, and guidelines - (essential).
Experience in a Retail / Wholesale / Financial Services industry - (preferred).
Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, legislation, and regulations - (essential).
