ENVIRONMENT:A leading company in the property management software sector is looking for a Junior SaaS Sales Consultant/Business Development Manager to join their headquarters in Cape Town (based in Somerset West). In this office-based role, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle for the Red Rabbit Inspections and Maintenance Software Solution-from building the customer database to closing deals. This position is ideal for a self-driven individual with a passion for technology and software-as-a-service, coupled with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a structured environment.DUTIES:Product Knowledge (training to be provided)

  • To have expert knowledge of the RedRabbit software product
  • To have basic knowledge of the Company Rental Asset Management Software Solution
  • To ensure that you keep up to date with all new feature roll-outs.
  • To have sufficient knowledge of the rental industry, and specifically the inspection and
  • maintenance part of rental management.
Database Management and Lead Generation
  • Build and maintain a high-quality sales database through research and cold prospecting.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calls and outreach campaigns.
  • Screen, qualify and capture all incoming RedRabbit Leads.
  • Organise and manage the sales pipeline effectively to ensure consistent lead flow.
  • Hand-over all in-person demo requests to the field-based BDM's.
Sales Process Execution
  • Conduct online product demos, showcasing the value of RedRabbit solution to prospective clients.
  • Develop tailored proposals to meet client needs and close sales to meet or exceed monthly targets.
  • Engage with decision-makers and key stakeholders in Property Management businesses to drive adoption of their RedRabbit solutions.
Sales Administration and Reporting
  • Update and manage customer interactions in the company's CRM system to ensure accurate records.
  • Maintain detailed and organized sales reports to track progress against targets.
  • Handle all post-sale administrative tasks, including agreements and handovers to onboarding teams.
  • Reporting on competitor and clients trends/feedback, as well as sales progress (cold calls, demos, closing, etc.)
  • This role will be report directly to the Head of Sales.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with the other sales division within company and product teams to provide
  • feedback on client needs, industry trends, and product opportunities.
  • Attend training sessions and contribute to developing sales strategies to enhance the sales process.
REQUIREMENTS:Essential Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the SaaS, property or technology sector.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Insightly, HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales software.
  • Highly organised with excellent time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally with Property Management businesses.
  • Knowledge of the property management industry is advantageous.
  • A passion for technology and a solid understanding of SaaS products.
