Job Description


Role Overview:
The Sales Consultant will play a vital role in driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing tailored telecom solutions. This role combines fieldwork, client interaction, and administrative tasks to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition and Retention:
  • Identify and approach potential business clients.
  • Conduct cold calls to introduce the companys services and secure meetings.
  • Schedule and attend meetings to present tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Conduct follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Sales Execution:
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
  • Assist in contract negotiations with guidance from senior sales staff.
  • Close smaller sales deals independently.
  • Market Research:
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors offerings (i.e. Vox, Bitco, Liquid, etc.)
  • Provide insights to refine product offerings and strategies.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the companys telecom products and services.
  • Clearly explain features and benefits to clients.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports for management.
  • Regional Focus:
  • Operate primarily within the Western Cape region.
  • Travel to client locations to present solutions and close deals.
Requirements:
  • Age: 2025 years.
  • Education: Matric certificate required; additional qualifications in sales, marketing, or business are advantageous.
  • Experience: 12 years in sales or client-facing roles preferred. Telecom industry experience is a bonus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in cold calling and client interactions.
  • Basic understanding of telecom solutions and corporate sales cycles.
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Other:
  • Valid drivers license and reliable personal vehicle.
