POSITION: Junior Sales Executive - Cape Town

REPORTING TO: Cape Town Manager - Gys Swart

This position is based in Cape Town. The sales exec must reside near Signal Cres, Montague Gardens, Cape Town, 7441.

Jo b Description Summary:

The Sales Executive will be responsible for telephonic and in person sales/calls to dealers/resellers and Print Finishing sales to end user (print finishers) of an existing customer base. A thorough knowledge of the product range, excellent communication skills and the ability to sell to resellers will be essential. This is for a permanent position with a basic junior salary and commission package.
The basic Key Performance Areas of the position are:

Sales / Telesales

Telephonic and in person sales of our product range to all prospective customers. Customer liaison and management of your customer base. Comprehensive sales understanding of your regions. Opening of new accounts. Product demos and regular product training to customers when necessary.
Administration

Continuous analysis of sales data to understand trends & opportunities. Timeous and accurate completion of all sales related paperwork (i.e. monthly reports, daily call sheets, etc.). Continuous maintenance of the email database.
Other & Promotional Activities

Preparation, execution and reporting of regular customer promotions. Participation in marketing and promotional activities where necessary. The acceptance of other duties beyond the general scope of this function as and when required by management
Basic Requirements:

1-3 years proven sales experience in manufacturing / packaging / printing (or related industry)
with some technical knowledge.

Minimum of matric but post matric will be an advantage. Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans (not negotiable). Code 08 license with reliable vehicle required (willingness to travel). Individual should energetic, confident, sales/target driven, self-motivated and willing to learn Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
