Job Description
Our client, a market leader in the FMCG distribution sector, is looking to hire a vibrant, self-motivated Junior Sales Executive based in the northern suburbs of DurbanThe successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for managing an existing client base while also developing new business in the retail food and forecourt sectorsDuties and Responsibilities:
- Manage existing customer base
- Source and initiate commercial opportunities with customers
- Develop new business opportunities
- Ensure products are merchandised correctly
- Submit daily reports
- Follow up on orders
- Manage returns
- Ensure customer accounts are paid in time
- Manage stock
- Drive sales with both existing and new clients
- Attend promotional activities
- Meet required sales targets
- Matric
- Experience calling on retail food chains and forecourts
- FMCG Sales experience essential
- Develop existing client
- Prospecting for new business
- Strong relationship builder
- Hungry go-getter
- Basic R10 - R20k per month (depending on experience) plus company car, fleet card, plus commission
