Job Description
Reputable Engineering company in Gauteng is looking for a suitably qualified Jnr. Structural Engineer to join their team in Gauteng.Qualifications and minimum requirements:
- Structural Engineering diploma or degree
- Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities
- Good understanding of structural modelling/analysis - Ability to solve complex engineering problems
- Good knowledge of building and construction (Materials, methods, and techniques)
- Autodesk suite of programs such as AutoCAD & Bim360
- Prokon, Prokon Probar, Revit
- Ability to assess and understand architectural layouts in order to coordinate and overlay with structural layouts
- Attention to detail
- Minimum 2 - 3 Years experience
- A thorough understanding of reinforcement steel and detailing (Preparation of bending schedules)
- Preparation of concrete drawings (layouts, sections, and details)
- Preparation of structural steel layouts, sections, and details
- Site experience - assisting the lead/project engineer/project manager with site inspections, measurements, and surveys
- Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- AutoCAD 3D
- Autodesk Revit
- Autodesk BIM360
- Prokon Probar (Reinforcement detailing software)
- Prokon
