Job Description

A leading pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Junior Supply Chain Manager.Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing and overseeing the demand planning and supply chain process implementing effective supply chain principles and practices ensuring sufficient stock levels maintained at all warehouses and distribution centers at the most cost-effective manner and managing the day-to-day operations of the supply chain working closely with manufacturers and suppliers ensuring company goals are meetKey Responsibilities:
Demand Planning

• Oversee Demand Planning
• Ensuring sufficient safety stock levels are maintained.
• Evaluate demand vs Supplier MOQ's and negotiate new MOQ's should need be.
• Communicate order rolling forecast to Suppliers on a monthly basis

Communicate order forecasts to

• Responsible Pharmacist to secure post importation testing readiness of labs
• Warehouse to ensure sufficient warehouse capacity
• Continues correspondence to Sales, Marketing and Strategic Customers on stock availability risk and mitigation plans.

Procurement

• Managing purchase order process ensuring purchase orders processed according to demand plan requirements and submitted to supplier.

Logistics

• Evaluate and approval Freight Cost Estimates
• Monitor incoming consignments with suppliers and freight forwarding and clearing agent to delivery ensuring relevant shipping docs received and sent to agents securing pre-clearance and delivery.

Financial

• P&L analysis per product, new launches and as required on costing amendments
• Approval and sign-off of supplier and freight invoices
• Ensure profitability sheets updated on latest pricing & freight & clearing charges
• Stock at risk evaluation and reporting
• Develop and maintain Inventory Cash Flow Forecasts

Systems

• Evaluate available systems and ensure continues improvement to meet stock control and demand planning requirements and initiate projects with stakeholders accordingly
• Ensure Supply Chain activities meet Regulatory requirements and Best Practices.

Requirements:

• Must have management experience
• Min 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience either in Pharma or FMCG, in a similar role
• Degree in Logistics OR Supply Chain OR similar
