Job Summary:Our client in Witbank is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their legal team as a Junior/Candidate Attorney on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in law and a desire to develop their legal skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Junior Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys on a wide range of legal matters and will be responsible for conducting research, drafting legal documents, and providing general support to the legal team.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist with document review and discovery.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.
• Assist with case management and trial preparation.
• Stay current on legal developments and assist with legal updates and training for the legal team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior attorneys.

• Finished with articles.
• Experience as a conveyancer.
• 1-2 years post admission legal experience.
• LLB Law Degree.
• Admission to the state bar in good standing.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software (E4).
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in Afrikaans.
