Roles and ResponsibilitiesJob Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Junior/Senior Accountant to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing the accounting team, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
This role requires a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accountancy, with a proven track record of managing and working effectively with people.Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Team Management:
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's productivity and professional development.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
Audit and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate and support external audits.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
Manage and oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Reconciliation:
Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
Reporting:
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations.Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accountancy.
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and working with teams.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly and concisely.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
