Key Account Manager - KwaZulu-NatalThe Technical Key Account Manager is responsible for generating new opportunities and closing sales in order to achieve its annual sales/order intake targets. In addition, the person shall actively pursue new customers for diversification.Duties:

  • Create a business development roadmap with identified relevant potential customers
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Create a strong business relationship with customers based on trust and professionalism with frequent visits, knowledge of customer pains and business follow-up
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Stay current on competition and market offerings
  • Prepare costing of full turnkey bids
  • Build technical and commercial offers
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in either mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering fields - Essential
  • Project Management qualification - Beneficial
  • Good technical and commercial understanding
  • Min 5 years relevant experience within a similar industry
  • Proven track record in strategic sales
