Job Description

• Maintain maximum Sales Volume & distribution of all MAN Parts, Service, Sales Campaigns & Promotions.
• Simplify and improve the customer's business from an MAN perspective post customer consultation.
• Keep management informed by using the CRM Tools & submitting activity & results reports regularly.
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery etc.
• Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive offerings.
• Study existing and potential sales volumes for each allocated customer.
• Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
• Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
• Promote monthly parts specials.
• Analyse the territory potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers.
• Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems etc.
• Initiate offerings to allocated Key Account customers & maintain an approach to revive lost business.

Qualifications:

• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate

Skills

• Code EB drivers license.
• Advanced EXCEL is a pre requisite.
• Computer Literate.
• Work well under pressure and maintain good customer relations.
• Work independently though being a team player.
• Work accurately under pressure and be able to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Attend training courses, ensuring that they contribute and successfully pass.
• Pro-active, reliable, be self-motivated.
• Able to create confidence and to manage a cooperative partnership.

Experience:

• Relevant experience in a parts environment - 3 years MAN and / or VW heavy commercial vehicles - 8 years
