• Relevant Degree in Food Technology or equivalent.

• Driverxe2x80x99s licence and travel is required.
• 3 to 5 or more yearsxe2x80x99 experience in sales or food science preferably in FMCG + experience in the handling of key accounts would be advantageous.
• Discipline and time management.
• Planning + proactive approach.
• Customer service and relationship building.
• Communication & persuasiveness.
• Resilience and positive outlook.
• Business acumen.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

• Plan fortnightly call schedules.
• Plan sales calls to ensure a value-added approach.
• Learn and apply client classifications.
• Plan on building market share across all categories.
• Drive and achieve, Ingredients volumes / budget.
• Drive and achieve casing volumes/budget.
• Build on and research product and industry knowledge.
• Work on promotional activity.
• Build client relationships and ensure service effectiveness.
• Submit weekly sales and ADAPT reports by the required deadline.
• Proactively look for new business and market opportunities.
• Manage sales administration and other duties as required.
• Demonstrate products to clients.
• Ensure deliveries are carried out to company standards.
• Develop new relationships through field visits.
• Perform as resource for local and domestic information.
• Develop agreements for factory accounts.
• Review customer accounts monthly.
