Key Accounts Sales Executive - Textile Industry

They are seeking a skilled and dynamic Key Accounts Sales Executive to strengthen their market presence and drive revenue through strategic key account management.

As a Key Accounts Sales Executive, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with key clients to maximise sales opportunities and achieve business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Account Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the textile industry.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on commitments and exceed client expectations.
Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing key accounts and formulate strategies to capitalise on them.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential new key accounts.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with key clients to secure profitable contracts.
  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance and minimise risk.
Product Knowledge and Presentation:
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our textile products.
  • Provide technical support and information as needed.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of key account activities, sales progress, and customer interactions.
  • Generate regular reports on key account performance for management review.
  • Analyse sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
Qualifications:
  • BCom Degree would be advantageous..
  • Proven experience in key account management within the promotional / branded clothing industry would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of clothing products and market dynamics (advantageous)
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and identify opportunities.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Fluent and Proficient in Afrikaans and English
