Area: Aeroton, Johannesburg
Salary: R20 000 - R24000 a month (Increase after 3-month Probation)
Benefits: 50% Medical Aid + 50% Provident fund after 3-month Probation

Overview
A well-established company that specialises in manufacturing, supplying, and installing high-quality garage doors in South Africa is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their Team. They provide a range of garage doors such as Rollup, Sectional, Tip-up and Wooden Doors, they also offer garage door motors, remote controls, safety beams, and battery backups.
 
Minimum Requirements:
Matic
Relevant technical qualification
Experienced in CGMP
Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience, preferably in a Metals Industry
The position will carry out the hands-on physical maintenance, repairs, servicing, and installation of plant, equipment and machinery as required by the production and office departments
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Mechanical maintenance functions
Machining & fabrication
Machine & equipment relocation and commissioning
Completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules
Proactive responsibility for determining spares & materials requirements
Interdepartmental interaction at all levels.
Record keeping and reporting, formal & informal.
Problem solving
Maintenance and service of machinery and equipment.
