Overview
Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join their team in the role of Half-Day Bookkeeper and Office Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling basic bookkeeping tasks up to the preparation of management accounts. In addition to bookkeeping responsibilities, the role includes receptionist duties and general office management. This position requires a commitment of 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Bookkeeping and general office management.
Proficiency in Omni Accounting and VIP Payroll software.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Basic Bookkeeping:
Record financial transactions accurately and timely.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Receptionist Duties:
Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer and direct incoming calls.
Office Management:
Oversee general office operations and ensure a smooth workflow.
Coordinate office supplies and equipment maintenance.
