R45 000 - R60 000 CTC per month

Dynamic Mining, Civil Construction, and Plant Hire is actively seeking a Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of financial operations experience. Reporting directly to the owner, you will hold a pivotal position within the company; dedicated to upholding precision and compliance across all financial processes.

Minimum Requirements:
Completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5 or more years’ experience within a Senior Accounting role.
Experience in financial operations within mining/ engineering industry is advantageous.
Proficiency in job costing, finance budgets, financial administration, and compliance.
Previous Pastel Payroll and Sage Pastel experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer monthly payroll and required submissions, including statutory submissions to SARS, Provident Fund, and Union membership fees.
Handle monthly accounting and reporting tasks, such as cashbook processing, debtors processing, and supplier invoice management.
Process monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with salary processing.
Compile year-end information for auditors and coordinate tax clearance requests.
Manage full payment functions.
Balance Pastel accounts to project ledger monthly.
Generate and present monthly financial and management reports.
Ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
