Junior Buyer/Stock Controller (Retail) (JB167)
Centurion
R10 000 – R15 000 CTC per month (dependent upon experience)
To start immediately
A large and well-known wholesales plastic products supplier based in Centurion are currently looking for a Junior Retail Buyer/Stock Controller to start as soon as possible.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required
Matric
Fully bilingual
Diploma/Degree, preferably in procurement
Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail and industrial purchasing, stock and price negotiation A MUST (KEY REQUIREMENT)
Computer literacy in Pastel Evolution advantageous
High attention to detail and accuracy
Able to handle large volumes
Own reliable vehicle/transport
Stable employment records A MUST (no job hoppers, long term employment at previous employers of minimum 1-year duration etc.)

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Full buyer functions of wholesales plastic products supplier
Placing orders
Manage stock levels
Inventory optimisation
Price negotiations
Souring quality suppliers and stock
Identifying/sourcing of stock items
Contact suppliers in writing or by telephone for any queries
Follow-up with suppliers concerning deliveries/special orders
Assist Sales Department with special stock inquiries.
Engage with suppliers/colleagues and clients in a professional manner
Stock Taking
Provide feedback to management
