Seeking an accomplished Academic Programme Quality Manager to uphold the highest standards in programme quality. Through adept academic operations and management, the Academic Programme Quality Manager will drive a holistic approach to quality enhancement across various aspects of our institution, including Academic Governance, Programme Accreditation, Regulatory Compliance, Research, Curriculum Development, Assessment, Teaching and Learning, and Student Success.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Minimum of a Master’s Degree (Essential).
Doctorate or progress towards a Doctorate (Preferred).
Minimum 6-8 years of academic experience in higher education, with at least 3 years at a management level (Essential).
More than 10 years of academic experience in higher education (Preferred).
Strong academic specialization focus in relevant faculty areas.
Demonstrated proficiency in Academic Operational Management.
Experience in designing, developing, and accrediting new programmes.
Policy formulation, strategy development, and procedure implementation experience.
Thorough knowledge of Education and Training legislative frameworks.
Familiarity with regulatory affairs and academic quality assurance processes in higher education.
Proven teaching, research, curriculum development, and assessment design experience.
Strong skills in risk management, communication, and business acumen.
High competency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead quality management, ensuring the alignment of programmes with accreditation, compliance, and certification requirements.
Oversee formal processes pertaining to programme quality management.
Establish Programme Advisory Committees (PAC) and Programme Design, Development, and Review (PDDR) Committees, involving internal, external academics, and industry experts.
Develop, manage, and review policies for Programme Quality Management and Curriculum Development.
Create a departmental budget for product development and review, monitoring expenditures and variances.
Foster strong relationships with internal/external academics, industry experts, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Assure quality in regulatory submissions for programme accreditation and re-accreditation.
Stay updated on changes in education legislation and policy.
Ensure scheduled maintenance and review of programmes in line with Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) expectations.
Facilitate programme articulation and new programme submissions within the school/faculty.
Enhance processes for programme design, development, and review, providing training to internal academics and external subject matter experts.
Develop Programme Advisory Boards for industry input into curriculum reviews and updates.
Gain professional body endorsement for curricula where applicable.
Monitor implementation of improvement plans.
Prepare for and participate in academic programme-related site visits.
Contribute to regulatory body and institutional Quality Assurance Framework activities.
Uphold compliance with regulatory standards and the Instructional Audit Framework.
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance expertise.
Participate in institution-offered staff development initiatives.
Organize and conduct training for programme developers, module writers, and moderators.
Adhere to instructions, functions, and tasks as directed.
Support institution functions and fulfill reasonable requests from management.
