Sales Director (JB3047)
Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal
R100 000 - R150 000 per month CTC
 
The main purpose of the Sales Director is to covert leads to sales, achieve monthly and annual commercial targets and enhance integrated branding campaigns to promote the reputation and service offering to grow market share within the industry. Previous experience with services, financial services, activations or similar would be highly advantageous. To manage and grow sales over multiple branches across the country. Managing Call Centre Sales Teams as well as support consultants, customer service consultants and external sales team.
 
Educational requirements for the Sales Director
Relevant Commercial/Sales Degree
Ensure annual commercial targets are achieved and exceeded
Responsible for Sales, Marketing, Brand and Commercial
Previous proven experience with leading a team
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Management skills
Project Management experience
Excellent analytical skills
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities of the Sales Director
Drive business growth
Identify areas to be expanded and developed
Manage contracts and vendors
Developing strategic initiatives and commercial plans to grow the commercial footprint and manage the business development function of the organization.
Leading the commercial team to reach commercial targets
Evaluating and adjust performance and develop processes that drive commerce
Develop brand strategies, promoting brand growth and expansion, implementing brand plans and use a variety of data to drive volume and profitability
Focus on achieving brand business objectives both short term and long term
Generating commercial business through extensive and professional networking
Deliver superior customer service
Troubleshoot queries
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at various seniority level
Generate sales forecasting for key clients and report on actual vs forecast
Budgeting and reporting
Prepare commercial, KPI and Exco reports for delivery
Growth, development, and management of the commercial team
Represent the organization at tradeshows and events
