Financial Manager (JB3956)
R1.8M per annum, negotiable
East Rand, Gauteng
Duration: Permanent

Our client is in search of a proactive individual with the ability to navigate the complexities of transitioning a fast-paced company to a new accounting system. The role demands a high level of commitment, and the selected candidate should be prepared to work in a high-pressure environment until the new accounting system is fully implemented.

Applicants are expected to possess substantial experience in the field of manufacturing engineering.

Requirements:
BCom Finance or Accounting Degree
10+ years experience in Accounting, including Cost Accounting
5+ years experience in Management positions, within large-scale Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction or foundry environment.
Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Understanding of payroll processes and remuneration structures.
Knowledge of South African Tax Law and Corporate Income Tax.
Familiarity with Commercial Law.
Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office Suite and discipline-specific software programs.
Effective communication skills across all organisational levels.
Above-average Excel skills for data interrogation.
Strategic thinking ability.
People Management skills.
Leadership qualities characterised by inspiration, determination, and fairness.

Duties:
As the Financial Manager, your role involves proficiently overseeing Financial and Commercial operations. This includes analyzing financial data, generating reports, and offering strategic insights to minimize risks, ultimately contributing to the company's profitability and growth.
