R50 000 - R55 000 CTC per month

Overview
Experienced Ecommerce Manager required to support the Marketing Director in driving digital sales and the development of ongoing trading alongside the wider company strategy.  You will optimize, update and maintain the content for several brands across different ecommerce platforms.
 
Minimum Requirements:
Completed marketing related Degree or equivalent
4 or more years’ experience within a mid to senior level Ecommerce role
Magento experience is advantageous
Excellent knowledge of online platforms and sales, including personalisation tools
Extensive experience and solid understanding of eCommerce, digital execution, and brand integration within consumer goods
Proven success in implementing digital marketing campaigns and integrated digital promotional campaigns
Email marketing experience
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify, propose and implement improvements to the customer journey
Monitor site behaviour – aiming to allow customers to check out in a predetermined number of clicks or minutes
Achieve KPI’s across all areas of core site functionality paying particular attention to the payment processes
Create and maintain site promotions, pages and content using CMS applications across Ecommerce websites
Implement content into email campaigns and website personalisation tactics using Personalisation Software
Follow and report on competitor analysis to ensure content is up with industry trends
Create reports to measure the impact of Ecommerce activity for Marketing Director
Work with stakeholders to organize localised promotions
Manage push notifications, and develop strategy for use
Conduct regular site walks to maintain and report on site quality and continually optimize site performance
Conduct split testing
Analyse and interpret performance data from Google Analytics
Lead and motivate a junior team to achieve team KPI’s and objectives, highlight development areas and conduct regular reviews
