Catering Manager | House Mother (JB3592)
Johannesburg, Gauteng (Candidate required to stay on site)
R30 000 per month
Duration: Permanent

Our client, a well-known catering company, is seeking the assistance of a Catering Manager to plan, organize and control the establishment’s operations to ensure that the food quality, presentation and service are provided to the appropriate standards. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in a similar role. Living on the school property is a requirement.

Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
At least 5 years’ experience working in a similar position or environment
The ability to work with the Head of House to ensure a home away from home
Management of all First Aid requirements
Computer literate with a strong understanding of costings, ordering and management of stock
Able to work long hours, weekends, and shift work
Proficient in the English language with good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to assist with menu development and function menus

Duties and Responsibilities:
Compassionate and caring nature and the ability to relate well to children
A dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative individual with strong administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills
The ability to work with the Head of House to ensure a home away from home
Must be able to assist with menu development and function menus
Delegates and leads a team efficiently, has a good understanding of HR related matters
A clear understanding of the importance of HSE and implementation thereof
