Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (NQF7)
3 to 6 years of experience in HR, Industrial Relations (IR), Recruitment, or Talent Management in organizations with a minimum of 50 employees
Experience in Payroll
Knowledge of South African employment legislation, Employment Equity submissions
Familiarity with global employment legislation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with recruitment software such as Breezy, Teamtailor, Workable, etc.
Proactive attitude
Strong administrative skills
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment
Collaborate with management to define job openings and future growth opportunities
Attract talent
Source potential talent through platforms like LinkedIn, recruitment agencies, job portals, and advertisements
Screen and shortlist candidates
Conduct criminal and background checks and verify qualifications and experience
Administer psychometric tests (outsourced as needed)
Assist with interview processes
Create job specifications, job descriptions, and employment offers
Manage the paperwork and processes until a suitable candidate is hired and the employment offer is accepted
Onboarding
Oversee the onboarding process using Process Street
Maintain contact with new hires until their start date
Ensure all necessary preparations for their first day at the office
Facilitate their attendance at Core Induction training as soon as possible
Assist new hires with benefits like Medical Aid, Provident Fund, and other employee benefits
Exiting
Support line managers with IR queries and concerns
Assist line managers in addressing performance issues and concerns within their teams
Handle grievances and policy violations
Assist with CCMA cases
Manage the exit process using Process Street
