Based in Romania, Europe our client is a prominent producer of engineered products for the automotive industry. With a medium-sized global presence, they have established a far-reaching impact and earned multiple awards for their innovative processes and high-quality production.
As the Industrial Mechanic (Electromechanical/Automation), you would be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of machinery, equipment, and installations within a factory setting.
Your role would involve the maintenance, repair, and optimization of production equipment, combining mechanical, electrical, and automation skills to maintain production efficiency, prevent downtime, and participate in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical maintenance, with additional expertise in electromechanical systems and automation technologies.
Minimum Requirements:
Suitably qualified
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a factory environment.
Proven experience with CNC machines, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Experience in the maintenance and repair of electromechanical and automation systems
Duties and Responsibilities:
Regularly inspect and ensure the proper functioning of machines, equipment, and installations.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, making necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
Maintain the quality of repair and maintenance work to ensure machines operate within established parameters.
Implement and follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce the risk of machinery breakdowns.
Use materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and maintain them in good condition according to work instructions.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
Take proactive measures to prevent recurring problems and optimize machinery performance.
Participate in the assembly, installation, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment in the factory.
Ensure that new machines are integrated smoothly into the production process and meet operational requirements.
Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
Report any significant issues or potential risks to management promptly.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Participate in safety audits and contribute to continuous improvement in workplace safety practices.
Relocation: Assistance with documentation, travel and accommodation is provided.
Training: Workback period agreements for training provided.
