Overview
We are currently assisting our client, a specialized property management company based in the UK, in finding an experienced Property Account Manager who would be the first point of contact for repair and maintenance queries from occupants, responsible for ensuring their effective resolution.
This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, showcasing your expertise in property management and customer support. You will work remotely, and a strong WiFi connection is non-negotiable.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
Proficient in using Outlook and Microsoft Office.
Ability to effectively manage workload independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience working within a property management company.
Exemplify the company's values as a team member.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by keeping landlords informed about the status and progress of reported issues within the assigned portfolio.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes and records of all maintenance issues reported for properties in the assigned territory.
Ensure timely resolution of all issues within the set time frames defined in the company's policy, updating the internal system accordingly.
Identify maintenance issues that require escalation to ensure satisfactory resolution.
Ensure that contractor or third-party instructions adhere to the spend policy.
Coordinate and organize the workload of the company's contractors and external third-party companies.
Monitor the quality of contractors' work and ensure completion of assigned tasks in line with system policies.
Obtain quotes and provide relevant advice to landlords.
Enforce the company's utilities fair usage policy, including obtaining meter readings and managing any necessary follow-up work.
Prepare house survey reports for newly onboarded acquisitions.
Assist with tasks related to setting up and closing down acquisitions.
Ensure full compliance within the assigned portfolio, following company policies and procedures.
Act as the first point of contact for resolving complaints from tenants and landlords.
Arrange and be present for any required inspections, both internal and external.
